Just finished Book 6 yesterday... Got facts and thoughts about the 7th Book, through reading all of the books...
Let me start by saying what I think about the title...
Deathly Hallows, would it be possible that it would represent those people who have given up their live on the account of the lives of the one they loved, and do still love? the sixth book does emphasize that there should be MORE Love in the world?
What I think is that Deathly Hallows means the the people who have given their lives in exchange for the survival those who live at present. It also gives me the impression that it is in fact a expression of sacrifice... What if it also meant the existence of a Horcrux in the persona of a real person?
Sacrifice was what made Harry live, because as a sign of Lily's love for Harry, the cause by which Harry was protected from the killing curse, was indeed Lily's sacrifice. And wouldn't it be possible that, in context to the prophecy itself... "Neither can live while the other survives" ... Harry might be Voldemort's sixth and final Horcrux before himself? So in this case Harry would need to die before Voldemort could die?
Slytherin - the Locket
Hufflepuff - the Cup
Ravenclaw - (no idea)
Gryffindor - the Sword --- in which has already been proved to be not one of the Horcrux
These were the items connected to the Voldemort's choices in placing his Horcruxes.. but in replacement to Gryffindor's Sword, could it be possible that the Horcrux he made in connection to Gryffindor would have been in Godric's Hollow all along? or was in Godric's Hollow? or was supposed to be in Godric's Hollow, but is not there anymore? Couldn't it be possible that the Horcrux would indeed be Harry Potter himself?
It could be possible that Voldemort after hearing the prophecy from Snape, had feared that this unknown boy, would indeed be the one that could put an end to his reign. And thus, he tried to kill the boy, to form his sixth Horcrux, because one did need to kill someone to form a Horcrux... and yet unknowingly, he had formed the Horcrux in Harry in expense for Lily's life. And thus fulfilling the prophecy that if he did try to kill the boy, he would lose half of his powers? Isn't it a coincidnce that Harry had indeed inherited his powers when Voldemort tried to kill him? What if Voldemort had grown weak when he tried to kill Harry because he had finally given his soul to the last Horcrux?
Dumbledore further emphasized that Voldemort always regarded physical pain as the worst kind of pain one can experience, but wouldn't it be more painful for Voldemort if he'd found out that in the process of preserving his life, through the use of Horcruxes, he would soon find himself at the mercy of one of those Horcuxes? This Horcrux, in contrast of preserving his life, would be the one who would finally end it?
Deathly Hallows, for me it means that to achieve a successful endeavor, one gives up his life to give death also to what is evil. It is the sacrifice that gives the finality of the Harry Potter Series.
WELL, It is just a guess though, I've read the six books again onstop and this is what I got out of it.... :D
More Trivial pursuits:
the Sixth book poses another lead to where the story might start out... Bill and Fleur's marriage, a lot can happen there you know, moreover that now that Bill's contaminated with werewolf blood.
And the trip to Godric's Hollow, how's he supposed to go there, if it is hidden from him? Peter Pettigrew still is the Secret Keeper right? JK never really took that privilege from him, right? or did Harry also inherit Godric's Hollow when his parent's died, it's a really hanging matter... if the former was true, however, and Pettigrew still is the Secret Keeper of Harry's parents' house... does that mean he needs to find Pettigrew first before ever reach the Hollow?
